Managed by Duka PADI Instructor Severo Eduardo Yap  and offers diving re-certification

Instructors PADI. Some of these courses will take you to any of the three popular Duka

"In my travel to Cagayan de Oro City on the Island of Mindanao in the
Philippines was the best experience of my life. It was not on a tour or a
vacation package or for recreation, but to marry my Filipina wife, who is from
Cagayan de Oro City on the Northern Shore of Mindanao, the third main island
in the Philippines of Southeast Asia".
"After the wedding, we took sometime to tour much of Mindanao along the sea
at many of the beautiful resorts along the Bohol Sea and Camiguin Island. I
must say in our travel and tour , the most beautiful and delightful of the
resorts we visited is Duka Bay Resort in Medina, Misamis Oriental on
Mindanao, Philippines located on the beautiful blue Bohol Sea 2 ½ hour travel
from Cagayan de Oro City. When we checked in at Duka Bay, we were greeted
with smiles and hospitality that I had never imagined. The entire staff and
management served us with smiles and hospitality as if they had known us for
years with outstanding service! After checking into one of the beautiful villas,
we found them spacious and decorative with a large balcony surrounded by
gorgeous tropical landscaping and trees overlooking the beautiful Blue Bohol
Sea with white beaches. Dining in their open air restaurant has an atmosphere
of shear delight with delicious seafood and Pinoy (Philippine) recipes, with a
large menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dine during the day with the
atmosphere of the warm sea breeze, the beaches and the waves of the
beautiful blue Bohol Sea, And at night, dine by candle light in a romantic
setting with personal service rating Ist to all".
"For those with recreation in mind, activities are endless with a badminton
court, volleyball on the beach, stream fishing, swimming, camping, Nipa huts
for picnics, kayak, aqua boats, sail boats, glass bottom boat tour to view the
Coral Reefs and our favorite, scuba diving! Duka Bay Reef Divers has a
courteous experienced scuba diving staff for non-scuba divers with classes
for lessons to get your PADI Certificate, or unlimited scuba diving for those
Certified scuba divers with all equipments available".
"My wife and I experienced our first dive to the coral reefs and caverns in the
Bohol  Sea at Duka Bay with their Discover scuba diving program, and we must
say, it was the “most beautiful and unforgettable experience of our life!”
"Next, came out tour of the beautiful  Camiguin Island located just 3 miles from
Duka Bay also in the Bohol Sea. There, we were greeted with hospitality by the
Filipino residents as well. With an endless host of activities and recreation, we
began our tour of Camiguin Island by renting motorcycles and began our
travel on the main road that circles the entire island, 76 kilometers with a host
of places to visit such as one of the 7 volcanoes Mt. Hibok-Hibok, the only one
still considered active out of the 7 and monitoring observatory. Next, was the
ruins of the large church in Catarman that was destroyed during the last
eruption of Mt. Hibok-Hibok in 1921. Nestled in the mountain is the beautiful
Katibawasan water falls springing rainbows in its mist.   Next was the Sunken
Cemetery where a beautiful Stone Cross stands above the sea water.  During
the eruption of Mt. Hibok-Hibok in 1921, the cemetery sunk into the Bohol Sea
leaving only the tall Cross above the sea. The places to visit along our tour
were are around Camiguin Island were endless, along with all the smiling
faces of the hospitable residents in the fishing villages along the coast line.
We ended our tour around Camiguin Island with a relaxing Hot bath in the
beautiful Natural Hot Springs at Ardent Springs before, retiring for the night.
The next morning was the fun and recreation on the beautiful White Island .
Just a mile from our resort, the travel was just 15 minutes by a bangka boat
where you’ll play on the awesome pure white beach, body surfing the waves
on the clear blue sea with a view of Camiguin Island that is breathtaking".
